“I created an English and math tutoring program for Spanish-speaking students in my hometown. PrimeraGlobal coached me in the expansion of the program. Last summer, I traveled to Peru, andI was able to meet with some of the students that I had tutored and see firsthand the impact that I was helping to create. I was also able to do a short internship with an impact organization and even do a sales pitch to their potential clients. I truly don’t think I would have been given these types of experiences anywhere else, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity. All of these experiences came with challenges and learnings which will help me navigate entering my first year at university, as well in the world after graduation. Working with PrimeraGlobal has helped me understand the impact that one can have in the world and has reinforced my own passion for working to help solve the most pressing global issues.” (Catalina)
