Sebastian – Mexico City – International Internship

“I learned a lot about independent living and self-sufficiency, which was extremely helpful for my subsequent travels and my transition to university”

“I study Business and International Relations. I completed a three-month internship with PrimeraGlobal in the fall of 2022, right after finishing high school. During my time as an intern, I lived in a student residence in downtown Bogotá, which was a crucial experience for me. I became very close friends with my roommate, whom I didn’t know before, and I even spent a week with his family in northern Colombia.

I learned a lot about independent living and self-sufficiency, which was extremely helpful for my subsequent travels and my transition to university. Living alone in a new country before starting university helped me in many ways, and with the support of the company team, I gained valuable insights into the working world and realized the importance of education.

I greatly value my gap semester in South America, as I feel it helped shape me into the person I am today. I would recommend this experience to anyone.” (Sebastian)

During his experience with PrimeraGlobal, Sebastian:

  • Gained experience in applied math and modeling
