About Felipe Vergara

Felipe has over 25 years of experience in youth professional development. 

Felipe Vergara is the Co-Founder of Lumni, an organization that has funded access to higher education, internships and first jobs to more than 25,000 young individuals in Latin America and the US. Felipe is the founder of Primera Languages, a New York based language and cultural awareness school. He worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in New York and in Paris, has been an external faculty at The Wharton School, at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile and at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, French and Spanish, and has a working knowledge of German and Italian. Felipe is an Endeavor Entrepreneur, Ashoka Global Fellow, and a Schwab Fellow from the World Economic Forum. He is a member of the development committee of the Latin American Leadership Academy-LALA, and a board member of Teach for Colombia, and served during ten years in Ashoka’s global board. During college, Felipe was an intern in Brazil and in France. 

Felipe has an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes.
